Curriculum Goals
The extended day program is available to children who are currently enrolled in St. Paul Early Learning Center’s 4-year-old class or pre-k class. This program extends the day to 1 p.m. Class begins in early October through December and January through March.
There are 2 sessions that children will have the opportunity to join: Session 1 focuses on SUPER SCIENCE and session 2 focuses on AWESOME ARTISTS.
With a lunch brought from home, children will learn how to open packages, eat in a timely manner, and experience success with lunchtime at school. Children will make discoveries in SUPER SCIENCE and create while learning about famous artists in AWESOME ARTISTS. In addition, children will get a feel for a longer day which is essential in preparing for kindergarten. The cost of each class is $10 per student.
